Golden Sands Bulgaria

The Bulgarian coastal resort town of Golden Sands is one of the hottest resort areas in the country and has something to offer nearly everyone. As summer approaches and thoughts of seaside holidays come to mind, this is one place to remember for a visit or a home away from home. Since joining the European Union, property in Bulgaria has become one of the best investments in Europe. Prices have been rising, but are still very reasonable, particularly when compared to places such as Spain, France and Italy.

The resort of Golden Sands, locally known as Zlatni Pyasatsi, is one of the largest on the northern Black Sea coast and is situated 18 km north of Varna. It is bordered on the north by Kranevo and on the south by the St. Konstantin and Elena Resort. The beach of the resort stretches for some 4 km and is as wide as 100 metres. Almost the entire coast along the town falls within the boundaries of the Zlatni Pyasatsi natural park. A constant temperature of about 27°C throughout the summer season makes it a wonderful place for a summer holiday.

The resort has a casino, many bars and nightclubs, a mini-golf playground, horse-carriages, water slides and equipment for all kinds of water sports. It also has housing in all sizes and types. The Golden Sands Resort offers over 100 hotels and many luxury villas, with property for sale in all sizes. For example, Bendita Mare Gated Community has studio apartments starting at €56,362 and 1 bedroom units from €101,280.

The Cabacum Beach Residence & Spa is a luxury five-star development under construction right next to the beach. It consists of 188 luxury apartments ranging from 63 to 260 square meters, plus shops, 24-hour security and concierge service, parking spaces, a professionally-designed spa centre and an outside swimming pool with geo-thermal mineral water. Prices at this spectacular resort start at €85,600. These are just a couple of the many resort opportunities for interested travelers and investors.

Getting to Golden Seas is relatively easy, as there is an international airport just down the road at Varnya (VAR). There are several international flights daily, including to and from the UK, and connections to Sofia regularly. The seaport offers regular water transport to and from Balchik, Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Bourgas. Varna is also connected to all main railway lines in the country with express trains to Sofia and Plovdiv. The city’s main bus station is 1.5km away from the city centre with buses to all larger cities in the country and, nearby seaside resorts.
